brimfield antique fair

On Wednesday, we took the day off to gallivant about the Brimfield Antique Fair. One of the largest and most well-known antique fairs in the country,  Brimfield is within a 2 hour drive from Boston. Parking runs from $5-10 and admission to walk up and down and off the 1 mile stretch is free. Up and down we walked, and found many paths off the sides to wander through the stalls. Our morning began with a few showers (which kept the crowds down) and then lightened up in the bright and shiny afternoon (which brought the crowds back)! T requested to be the guest photographer for the day, in order to use his new go pro camera, so I apologize in advance for the fish-eye pictures!

Pulled pork energy break

After a day of wandering around ooh-ing and ahh-ing and "I want it, where can I find a place for it"-ing, I stumbled upon what I knew HAD TO BE mine...a full antique croquet set!!

I will definitely be back next year, for some unique and interesting finds! We successfully bargained our way down for a useful game, but on the other hand we did leave some OTHER things behind...
